Our celebrated Venda Art Lodge
Experience luxury and comfort amongst beautiful works of art by internationally acclaimed Venda artist, Noria Mabasa.
The Venda Art Lodge is a magical African story waiting to be shared with you.
An incredible work of art built on dreams and inspiration. Our hearts went into bringing this original Venda homestead back to life and creating one of the most unique lodges in the world.
The sculpted figures, by artists Noria Mabasa and Thomas Kubayi, greet you around every corner; mermaids, maidens and crocodiles emerging from the clay walls.
With fairy tale lanterns, flames dancing from the firepit on the deck and a star-painted night sky splashed above, this special place embraces you with its warmth and authenticity.
Big enough to accommodate everyone you love and suit everyone’s needs, the Lodge can sleep 19 people sharing with the option of extra day beds for four children in the Tadulu and Naledzi Labvish Suites.
Nestled on the hillside overlooking our Duluni valley, one could spend all day simply relaxing on the deck and watching the wildlife grazing and coming to the waterhole to drink – a remarkable real-life spectacle.

“Staggeringly beautiful and friendly alpine Leshiba in Limpopo”
– Trip Advisor
“Professional and friendly staff. Exquisite setting, beautiful architecture. I booked not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised and awed by Leshiba. We will certainly return to this spot where the staff and nature complement each other. We were treated like royalty and our fully equipped cottage with its authentic African design was a perfect getaway.”

“Cycling route was great. Unfortunately I only did the marked route. If I stayed longer a 2nd route would have been even better!”
