Oh Leshiba you sing to me of sandstone rock
And mountains clad in green,
Of earth red soil
And secret streams and waterfalls.

Great friendly and helpful staff.
We got the 'hut' that more looked like a full blown apartment. Very nicely arranged and very clean.
The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were very... read more spacious and great to spend some time.
The outside pool is also a nice touch.
The first day food (chicken) was a bit under cooked to my liking.
The breakfast and other evening dinner were marvelous.
The game drive looked a bit "staged". They know where the rhino's are since there are constantly 2 guards to their side :), but the drive in itself was nice. We saw a lot of other other animals. The morning bushwalk was too late (7:30 AM) in my opinion. The sun was already burning 25+°C. It could easily be done at sunrise (5:30 AM) when the temperature is still nice.
The drive up and down the huts are an adventure in itself (In my opinion not to attempt without 4x4 Low gear).
A great experience alltogether.

I was disappointed to find no plant/shrub/tree list. My very short exchange with Lukas was rewarding. Next time I would like to spend some time with him.
The fact that on the first night I had to sleep on the settee on the stoep until 2 am was not the fault of Leshiba! From midday 21 Oct 38 degrees to midday 22 Oct 20 degrees was astounding.
Please give me Jhb contact details for John Rosmarin who knows me from way back. I want to give him a short extract from "South Africans against Rommel" which features his father.
